VISA and Support Letter

If you are an international attendee, you may need a valid VISA to enter USA. Please check the US Department of State for more information.
As part of the VISA application process, you may be required to include a visa support letter. To request a visa support letter, you need to register for the CPS-IoT Week 2025 first, and then fill in this form https://supportletters.acm.org/. This form will ask you to provide the following information:

Visa support letters are processed in the order they are received. You will receive a PDF letter by email in 7-10 business days. The PDF serves as a signed electronic version of the original letter. Please print out your PDF visa support letter and take it with you to your visa appointment. The original letter is mailed only upon an explicit request. Note that visa support letters will be provided to only those participants who have registered and paid for the venue. Should a participant withdraw from the conference after the issue of the visa support letter, the consulate will be notified of the withdrawal accordingly.
Note that some visa applications require information about a contact person or organization in the United States (including the organization name, contact person’s name, address, email, and phone number). This information can be found in the last step of the Visa Application Form https://supportletters.acm.org/.
ACM does not provide letters for transport of vendor or presenter equipment. ACM suggests shipping the materials insured to the conference facility.

Formal Invitation Letters (Case-by-Case Basis)

In special cases, the conference organizing committee may provide a formal invitation letter to support your visa application. If your visa application requires additional documentation, please contact Luis Garcia (la.garcia@utah.edu) with the following details:

Formal invitation letters are considered case by case and are not guaranteed. Requests will be reviewed at the discretion of the organizing committee.
