VISA and Support Letter
If you are an international attendee, you may need a valid VISA to enter USA. Please check the US Department of State for more information.
As part of the VISA application process, you may be required to include a visa support letter. To request a visa support letter, you need to register for the CPS-IoT Week 2025 first, and then fill in this form https://supportletters.acm.org/. This form will ask you to provide the following information:
- Your full name as it appears in your passport,
- Your current postal mailing address,
- The title of your paper (if you are presenting author/speaker) or the registration confirmation number (if you are registered attendee)
Note that some visa applications require information about a contact person or organization in the United States (including the organization name, contact person’s name, address, email, and phone number). This information can be found in the last step of the Visa Application Form https://supportletters.acm.org/.
ACM does not provide letters for transport of vendor or presenter equipment. ACM suggests shipping the materials insured to the conference facility.
Formal Invitation Letters (Case-by-Case Basis)
In special cases, the conference organizing committee may provide a formal invitation letter to support your visa application. If your visa application requires additional documentation, please contact Luis Garcia (la.garcia@utah.edu) with the following details:
- Your full name as it appears in your passport,
- Your affiliation and role in the conference,
- A brief explanation of why a formal invitation letter is required.
